A handcrafted blown glass kaleidoscope from Sato's long-running "Pure" series.
The name "Segno" comes from the Italian word meaning "sign" or "mark." In music, the Dal Segno (D.S.) symbol indicates a return to the Segno mark in the score.
In this kaleidoscope, the handmade glass objects gently circulate within a ring-shaped cell, echoing the repeating movement of the Dal Segno symbol.
Unlike other kaleidoscopes in the Pure series, Segno features a distinctive ring-shaped cell instead of a spherical one. Handmade glass objects in soft shades of green and blue create delicate, shimmering patterns that beautifully complement the colors of the exterior.
