Ryota Namiki - Embed your self-introduction
I create works in Shonan, Kanagawa Prefecture, using an oxygen burner and primarily using borosilicate glass (heat-resistant glass). Utilizing my previous experience in glassblowing, stained glass, and glass polishing, I also create works that combine multiple techniques.
We cherish the brilliance of glass and the beauty of how it reflects the scenery, and we create each piece with a story in mind.
Synapse is like an organ through which nerve cells transmit information. The name was chosen with the hope of bringing about inspiration for ideas, the feeling in your fingertips when creating, and connecting with many people and society through glass.
