Hiroaki and Hiroyo Sanematsu
Artist introduction
When I first saw a wooden teleidoscope on display in a restaurant in town, I was amazed and moved, and became fascinated by the existence of a modern art kaleidoscope.
Using the pottery they had both studied, they began creating works together, and have continued to learn how to make stained glass kaleidoscopes ever since.
I am working hard to create kaleidoscopes that will move everyone and give them a warm feeling when they hold them in their hands.
