A rare wheel-type kaleidoscope created by Koji Yamami, one of Japan’s leading kaleidoscope artists.
This kaleidoscope was created for a special exhibition at the Sendai Kaleidoscope Art Museum. The glass pieces in the wheels are carefully assembled, and the decorative soldering adds an extra touch of beauty. Look closely and you’ll even find playful lion-foot details incorporated into the design.
The wheels feature sparkling dichroic glass and colorful glass elements. As the two wheels overlap and turn, they create rich, ever-changing patterns filled with light and color.
You can comfortably enjoy the beautiful kaleidoscopic images through the large eyepiece.
